Volume discounts are available based on monthly inch totals. The O’Collegian offers volume discounts to all advertisers who run at least 20 column inches per month and who pay within 30 days of invoice date.

Contract Rates

Deadlines for Display Advertising

Sales deadline is noon, two business days prior to publication (Thursday for
Monday’s paper; Friday for Tuesday’s paper; three days prior to publication for ads requiring extensive production work). Earlier deadlines will apply for special promotions, for tabloid supplements and before holidays. Tabloid advertising supplement deadlines should be agreed upon by the advertiser involved and The Daily O’Collegian. Ad proofs are available upon request. Deadline for corrections is noon the business day before publication. Cancellation of advertising space is accepted only until the deadline for space reservation.

Ads are sold in column widths only and in increments of half-inches in depth. Minimum ad size is one column by one inch. Full double-truck ads will be charged for 13 columns. Ads over 19 inches in depth will be charged as full depth (21 inches).
