Even though she must use a wheelchair to get around these days, Watkins, the voice of OSU, has more drive and determination than ever.

Paralyzed from the chest down in April from a car accident, Watkins amazed doctors during the summer months and returned to her important,behind-the-scenes job as assistant vice president of communications for OSU.

She is a role model.

When some people faced with the same condition would rather give up and hand in the cards they were dealt, Watkins seemed to set her goals for recovery even higher.

She makes us proud. She makes Oklahoma State proud. She gives hope to people facing disabilities. Welcome back, friend.
